Domenica 17 marzo 2013, in occasione del 152° anniversario dell'Unità d’Italia, la S.V. è invitata a partecipare alla manifestazione "Buon Compleanno Italia!", in programma alle ore 17:00 presso la "Saletta delle Arti", in Viale Giacomo Matteotti 2 a Frosinone. Visto l'attuale momento storico e le diverse congiunture economiche, politiche, sociali, sentiamo la necessità di ritrovarci nel nome di un sentimento comune, che sia da stimolo per tutti noi a credere in un futuro migliore e a lavorare, in ogni ambito, per realizzare questo sogno. Un incontro informale durante il quale sarà possibile ammirare una rassegna fotografica e la proiezione delle immagini più significative del trascorso 150° anniversario dell'Unità d'Italia, un momento per guardare al futuro con fiducia, con l'obiettivo di trasmettere, in modo particolare ai più giovani, il patrimonio di identità, valori, storia, cultura e legalità che sono alla base della Nostra Beneamata Patria. Nel corso dell'evento sono previsti interventi di lettura e recitazione, oltre l'ascolto di musica: proporre forme d'arte e cultura ci sembra il modo migliore per festeggiare il compleanno della Nostra Italia. Verrà inoltre offerto ai presenti un aperitivo. 1000 images 150 Personalities Demonstrations Mountings Events Fratelli Comuni Centocinquantesimo Photographic collection dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy.
The idea The idea was born the 17 March 2011, after admiring the big waterfall of Isola del Liri (Fr) illuminated with the three colors of our flag on the occasion of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. Hence the curiosity to find out how all the other Italian municipalities had celebrated the event and then collect in un a single document the most beautiful and representative images of this anniversary. Fratelli Comuni Fratelli Comuni is a photographic work containing 1000 images of the celebrations of 150 years of the Unification of Italy, published by Gargoyle Books, in collaboration with Editrice Pisani. A visual narrative that casts the reader from north to south, through the provinces, municipalities, symbol places of the unification process. These images are the emblem of a common national identity whose aim is to remain alive during the time. Fratelli Comuni is a colorful mosaic of moods and characters that reveals how the 2011 has awakened the patriotic pride of every citizen. It is a simple and original way to tell how Italy has experienced the year of unification celebrations. A photographic itinerary that reconstructs the most significant stages: events, trade fairs, activities that reflect the need to create a unique identity around the Italian Flag. Special Arguments Some of the images are dedicated to the Armed Forces, a special tribute to all those who work every day with a spirit of sacrifice to defend Peace and Democracy. Due to the current international political situation, this special birthday is even more important because amplifies the value and courage of the men and women who ensure the safety and prestige of our Country. The introduction is by the historic Virgilio Ilari, President of the Italian Military History Society. 150 Personalities A special section of the book is dedicated to 150 famous people that have helped make Italy the major exponent in art, fashion, entertainment, sports, politics, industry and Nobel Prize. Each category is introduced by a representative of culture, art and sport. Contributions The collection was made possible thanks to the support of hundreds of municipalities and citizens who have sent photographic material , becoming authors and protagonists of a spectacular fusion between tradition and innovation.
